From the Archives : trying a lower cost alternative with HipCamp
Going back in time to January 2024. I find an app called HipCamp that allows one to book camp sites, campers, cabins, etc…at much cheaper prices due to the minimalistic nature of the set up. You do everything pretty much yourself. In this case, I had to bring my own propane for heat, simple food and drink, and a battery powered lantern for light to read. No TV, only the sound of snowing falling and coyotes howling at the full moon outside….
