My first Cirque de Soleil show was in 1995, when I worked for the company Holiday Inn. We went to Las Vegas for a national convention, and they treated us to a showing of Mystere.

It was amazing.

In 2008, the brothers, their wives, and I drove back to Las Vegas to see the Mystere show again. Being older, I had a greater appreciation for it. The artistry, acrobatics, athleticism, and sheer beauty of it was breath taking.

Tonight I went to see another Cirque de Soleil show, “O” at the beautiful Bellagio hotel. It, to me, made Mystere look like a children’s puppet show. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. I still can’t get my jaw to close.

I’m tingling, it was that good. Man, I love Vegas.
