I’ve made it through the first week of work for the New Year, 2023. I decide to purchase a Arizona State Parks annual pass, with the hope it will keep me motivated to pursue outdoor goals.

I start by heading back to an old favorite of mine, Lost Dutchman State Park.

Nothing to difficult for me, just enjoying the trails in the January air, with greener than usual blooms so early in the season for the desert.

The wet winter up North helps all landscapes.

The familiarity of these trails, this particular landscape, eases my troubled soul. They seem to help the dementia that is invading my brain, clogging my mind. The disease that is the long days of life, and the boredom that can come with…..
