It’s the Monday morning after the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I’ve returned from Utah, bringing the sickness that everyone had up there home with me.

I get to see my parents new home that they purchased, right next door to my brother’s. What a relief to have him so close by. His daughter’s are always at my parent’s house, so I get told, which brings them immense joy. An abundance of food and games are to be had on day one.

Friday – More time spent with my nieces. I get their Christmas wish lists and we play more games. Later that night we watch movies and Holiday specials under a mountain of blankets and leftovers.

Saturday – All football, all day. Our Utah Utes needed to not only win their game, but needed three other teams to win their games as well. The odds weren’t in our favor but the stars aligned and we ended up going to the PAC 12 championship game in Las Vegas next weekend.

Sunday – I catch my flight home, feeling the Holiday spirit. Or maybe it’s just that my cold I caught in Utah is getting worse.
