My parents drove down to my new place in Arizona from Utah last week. It was nice to have them here for a couple of days. They brought me the last of my moving boxes, some salsa, and most importantly, themselves.
It has only been a month since I’d left, but I needed some family time.
We made the most out of a couple of days, hitting a Spring training baseball game, a road trip through the Salt River wilderness, and a nice hike in the Boyce Aboretum.
It was a visit I needed to get me through the transition of being here by myself.
