It’s only taken me thirty years, but country music is growing on me like a weed in summertime. When I purchased my ticket to see Garth Brooks, I just thought it would be an opportunity to see if the man lived up to the hype.

As I entered State Farm Stadium as one of over 78,000 people attending his Stadium tour, the infectiousness of the evening took hold of my spirit and never let go.
Garth was a great performer, so interactive with the crowd, and of course the songs were iconic. Little did I know that going down this Country Road would lead me to where the Thunder Rolls, as I found all my friends in low places, which had me feeling much too young for being this damn old.
