Driving along the winding road, following the signs to The Inn. I’m not one to usually stay in a place with four star elegance, but every once in a while I’ll make my wallet cry out as I fork over my hard earned money for some luxury.

I can imagine the Vanderbilt’s lounging in the Adirondack chairs that overlook the winery, sipping cocktails as evening makes its presence known.
I step out onto my balcony each evening, enjoying the sounds of Nature in the Blue Ridge mountains. Two happy souls sharing wedding vows below me. Couples drink wine and talk a tad too loudly the darker night becomes.

I make epic time lapses while I play and explore during the day. The camera clicks away, capturing the clouds and the rotation of the earth as the sun moves from East to West.
I dine in solitary on the farm fresh goodness that was raised here on the Estate. I savor my own wine glass, and raise a toast to the day.
Experiences will always win over money, every single time.
