Late night college study sessions is where I first learned about Surrealism and Salvador Dali. My friend Natalie had some of his artwork hanging from her apartment walls, which is where I first laid eyes upon “The persistence of Memory”.
I’d never seen anything like his work before, and his surrealistic art pulled me in deep, my mind stuck like taffy in the twisted machine of Dali’s brain.
I haven’t thought about this time in my life for years, literally, until last spring when I found myself walking in Mexico City’s Polanco district.
Come down the rabbit hole with me and see Dali as you may have never seen before.
