I wake early and map out my walking route to the Botanical Gardens. Coffee in hand, I love the smell of a city before it has truly awoke to a new day. Quiet streets for strolling as I take pictures of the buildings I pass.

The Glasgow botanical gardens is the perfect place to start my final day in the city. The quiet park paths give me peace and comfort. I feel as though I’m running out of words to describe my feelings.

A glass building with interesting sculptures calls to me….come closer. I follow that voice inside. The statues cause my eyes to water, as the stone faces speak to me in a way that living people can not.

I leave in a melancholic state of mind. I might need to start my day drinking early….

Wench, bring my ale, what say you?
