My Walkabout

Twas our night before Christmas

and we all gathered at Pop’s

to enjoy a night of Pei Wei, smelly dog, and Scrooged

Dad kept his tradition and we voted as usual

Opened one present, the pajama ritual.

Happy in Ute gear, and stuffed with good sweets

I love my family

and wish all of us peace

With old Nick coming

bringing gifts to young minds

I’m glad I have Ole Jack

looking over mine….
