Major League baseball’s Spring Training here in Arizona has ended, as the start of the season began on March 29th.

I did make it to one Spring training game though, out at the new Salt River Fields stadium in Scottsdale.
Since I’m lucky enough to live here now, my goal is to make it to at least one Spring Training game each year, and if possible try and hit a different stadium each time.
There really is nothing better than cold beer, peanuts and cracker jacks, and the sweet smell of newly cut grass as you watch America’s favorite past time.
I see the Colorado Rockies vs. our hometown Arizona Diamondbacks, and the DBack’s pull out a win!
I foresee going to more DBack’s games over the summer, as it’s the perfect place to escape the heat.
But for now I get my kicks hearing the words, play ball!
